New banner art for Kick Ass 2,don’t ask me who it’s by,it’s from a Spanish blog!:
Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation. When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy.
Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes. Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.
Opens August 16th in US.
I’m not sure which upcoming Marvel film I’m most excited about but I’m pretty sure Thor:The Dark World is pretty far up the list.
Whatever you are looking forward to most you have to admit it’s going to be an awesome year for Marvel films and the latest trailer to hit the internet is for the Prince of Asgard’s second outing. The film sees Chris Hemsworth as Thor and,of course, features fan favourite Tom Hiddleston as Loki.Check out the trailer below.
Thor:The Dark World hits cinemas on Nov 8th.
Everyone is excited by this summer’s Iron Man 3 but judging by the new trailers The Wolverine looks set to be a pretty exciting thrill ride too.
Set mostly in Japan the prequel of sorts will tackle the classic Chris Claremont Wolverine/Yukio storyline with a few added surprise thrown in for good measure.
Set in modern-day Japan with plenty of Yakuza action the film is directed by James Mangold and of course, sees Hugh Jackman reprise his role as the gruff, tough talking hero.
I had wondered about the feasibility of using Chloe Moretz a second time in the role of pre-teen hero Hit Girl as there is now a discernible age-gap between the actress and the comic-book character. However,as Chloe’s performance was damn near perfect last time round it would seem a mistake not to include her in Kick Ass 2.
Here’s hoping the talented star can wrestle the attention away from the scene chewing antics of Jim Carey when he appears as Colonel Stars & Stripes in this Summer’s sequel!!
You can see Hit Girl in action when Kick Ass 2 opens in cinemas from August 16th but until then check out this new trailer.
I know everyone else has posted this, but as I did post the last Man of Steel trailer I feel I should post the new Iron Man trailer for balance!
